Armour Energy regards the safety of its employees, contractors and visitors as paramount. As a result Armour Energy is committed to the implementation and continued improvement of work practices, standards and policies that meet or exceed all required regulatory, industry and community safety and health standards. We will continue to do this through actions including leading by example, implementing appropriate risk management processes that effectively manage our personnel and contractors to eliminate or minimise risks including exposure to potentially harmful situations.
Armour Energy has developed and implemented a dynamic Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) based on the components of Australian Standard 4801 “Occupational health and safety management systems”. Armour Energy’s SHMS is designed to define, capture and manage risks, exposures and likelihood assisting us to provide a safe place of work for our people.
Implementation of the Armour Energy SHMS is an ongoing activity for all Armour Energy employees and we will continue this emphasis so that we maintain our current outstanding safety record.
